Biography

I am a wife of 16 years. I am fortunate to have a wonderful husband. We have two beautiful daughters that keep us on our toes, that we adore!! I love my Lord and Savior. He has been good to me even when I couldn't understand the road I was on, he had a plan. I am also a first year Kindergarten teacher seeking to balance it all and do it well! (we have consumed a lot of take-out food this year!! I mean, A LOT!!) It has been a challenging year getting adjusted to everything, but hopefully I am headed in the right direction.

I have worked with children in one capacity or another for about 15+ years. I have a bachelor's degree in Child Development and have always found the study of young children interesting. I have volunteered with my husband with 3-5 year olds at church for the last 12 years, worked with children in the childcare setting, hospital setting, in school as a PPCD aide, and now as full-fledged teacher. (of course, I still hold firmly to the belief, that all staff that work with children are teachers!!) I am challenged, rewarded, amused, and completely honored to work with Kindergartners. They make every day new and interesting. They give me a reason to nuture, love, encourage, and teach. They are precious souls that I love dearly! (even when they interrupt my teaching to tell me how another child brought a woodchip to the carpet, how hungry they are, and how they can't "see" when they are right in front of me.....ha ha You gotta love em'!!!)
