Learning Interests

As a new teacher, my learning interests seem endless! I especially love to watch videos of teachers teaching lessons.

My learning interests include:
Behavior management
Room arrangement
Effective hands-on centers (like ones that will replace the ones my students don't usually touch!)
How to do writer's workshop
Best routines and procedures
Anything on literacy development, especially utilizing it in different areas
Phonemic awareness
Growing readers/fluency
How to implement The Daily 5 in a Kindergarten Classroom
Technology (definitely an area I need to push myself in!)
Organization of the room
Time Management
Best Resources for a Kindergarten Classroom
Anything that will help me become a better Kindergarten Teacher!
